Welcome To Checkpoint Thinking

People know when an experience feels right. Most people know when something feels frustrating. Most people know when service feels welcoming, rushed, organized, confusing, helpful, or disconnected. What most people struggle to explain is why.

For years I’ve worked inside retail operations, customer experience, merchandising, leadership, and frontline environments.

I noticed something. Customers feel things they cannot always explain. Employees carry pressures they rarely talk about. Owners, Managers and Supervisors see patterns they often struggle to describe. Yet those invisible moments shape experiences every single day.

I created the Middle Exchange to study those moments. The moments between customers and employees. The moments between expectation and satisfaction. The moments between pressure and performance.

The moments that influence how people experience businesses, services, leaders, and environments.

I’ll be sharing observations, frameworks, stories, and ideas built around one simple belief:

People experience life one checkpoint at a time.

Welcome.
